SGD Finalists WE are delighted to announce greencube have been shortlisted as finalists for two gardens in the Society of Garden Designers national awards - winners will be announced on 1st February 2019 See snippets taken from the journal below:

NATIONAL AWARDS Our garden in the heart of Chelsea is a finalist in the SGD awards Another difficult build - no access other than through the basement flat. ‘escape to Marrakech’   A tiny detailed Victorian basement apartment garden in the heart of Chelsea, only 2.5 metres long by width of apartment 13 metres.  Blending subtle lighting, a tropical planting palette, simple, reflective, muted materials to contrast with Moroccan tiles. Calming influences transpiring to a magical space at night where shadows and patterns cast from bouncing light. I really ought to get out to all our gardens more often and take photos  - evolving, maturing and looking fab. I visited this finished garden in Sevenoaks last week after a rain shower. We have entered it in a National Competition - wish us luck!
