spring has sprung...

Busy busy as always. Tulips photographed in our Hadlow garden this week. It was a bit hot and a bit bright but these stunning lily flowering tulips are all open with great colour.  They sit within a courtyard enclosure within a much larger garden, surrounded by white rendered walls. We were a little surprised by the 25 degree heat this week, Gemma had her shorts on. I have been emailing our clients to remind them to keep watering. In my own garden I potted up a large grey stone pot with a mix of bulbs.  Now looking glorious, we use this double orange tulip quite a bit. new gardens uploaded onto our website

It seems I've been a little busy and pre-occupied and so over the last 2 days I have banned the Christmas festivities,  put my 'website hat' on and uploaded some of our fab gardens completed in 2014. Here's a taster: check our website which is still undergoing some other changes over the next week http://greencubed.co.uk/portfolio/portfolio.html three of these gardens are maintained by greencube - our landscape gardener Gemma. Regular garden maintenance is the key to a successful garden looking great all year. Now I'm off to celebrate the new year, Thankyou to all our hardworking landscapers who realise our designs and to our wonderful clients who keep us busy and challenge our creativity on a regular basis. Its been a wonderful 2014 and I'm very much looking forward to creating some wonderful new gardens in 2015.

We finished this garden last week, planting the final feature plants. The lighting has been tested and the hardscapes now complete. Here's Harriet positioning the tree fern: I'll return to take some night shots and some spring and summer shots for next year. garden designed by greencube, hardscapes by creative landscapes and planting by greencube Gemma will be looking after this garden on a regular basis to keep it look...
