still posting our late summer images.....

here's a lovely garden we designed and planted in Offham near West Malling a gorgeous oast house which has been sympathetically restored and refurbished, now looking amazing. This garden has had time to fill out and mature. I took these photos last month, greencube now do the aftercare/maintenance, Gemma and Benita work in this garden monthly. The local kent ragstone from the quarry retain the level changes, teamed with a limestone paving that connects lovely with the traditional oast house. Gravel courtyard runs the same diameter around the Oast roundel, squaring off at the barn end. We have also installed hop poles with climbers homage to the original farming use. Here are some photos taken early summer 2017 that include the ragstone cascading pond

California Dreaming

I visited one of our finished gardens yesterday in Mersham, Ashford, Kent to take a few photos. This garden includes a feature Californian Amber wall with one of our favourite planting combinations of Nepeta, Salvia, Allium and there's also some Helenium and Coreopsis to follow. This garden makes me smile, it feels warm, sunny and happy even on a grey day. Our clients not adverse to a splash of colour. We enjoyed working on this project and here's the finished garden in its first summer glory. Tulips, obelisks and arbours

We have just completed a new garden in Sevenoaks - a beautiful old coach house built originally in 1836, it now has a wonderful front garden with obelisks, old style coach house brick platforms with oversized pots bursting at the seems with daffodils and tulips. Slate paving and an arbour. A tasteful mix of old and new linking back to its heritage then jumping forward to the 21st century. Garden designed, planted and project managed by greencube, hardscape by Langdale Landscapes. Gemma now maintains this garden monthly. The resin bound drive is just about to be applied the last of the hard landscaping jobs. I will return to take further photos during the spring and summer to hopefully capture this wonderful garden through the seasons.

Vibrant colour in our greencube garden in Caterham

This tiny garden belonging to our client living in a new build end of terrace home in Caterham has had the greencube touch... Inspired by palettes of tropical greens, creating a lushness and oasis within this tiny space and the boldest focal point fireplace we have ever designed. With our clients backing we have (almost) completed this garden. Garden includes bio ethanol fire bowl. We have played with scale placing the large focal point fireplace and the oversized pots within the small space, creating a dramatic, non fussy garden . I'l return to get some images at night. Gemma is maintaining this garden on a regular basis, feeding, weeding and generally keeping it looking fab. Garden includes eco deck and granite paving.  Before photo Garden construction Oakleigh Manor Garden Design, Project Management and Planting Greencube View our other projects: www.greencubed.co.uk
