Wow what a week I had last week, 12 hour days in the hot sunshine at RHS Hampton Court Flower Show, staying in a B&B around the corner with Nilly, who I originally met at University over 10 years ago. I helped with the planting of the show garden along with Helene, Gavin, Sasha and the new celebrity from the 'chelsea challenge' Paul under the direction of Nillufer Danis the designer. A great hard working week - Nilly well done - Gold Medal and Best in category - well deserved, so proud. You can smell the garden before you reach it - full of Roses, Lillies and Jasmin and I'm looking forward to seeing the BBC coverage this evening at 9:30pm. Here's one of our garden designs enjoying its second summer, a garden designed for a couple in Speldhurst who have had a wonderful baufritz house installed. A german kit home. We worked closely with the clients and created a very modern garden with decking and granite with feature walls and textural gabion retaining walls. A simple pared back planting design to create softness within the strong geometric layout.
