greencube's mews courtyard garden features in advertisement in the Garden Design Journal

We shared our blog link with  CED  (stone suppliers)  last month to show them their products that we specified in our clients mews house, in chislehurst. A  courtyard garden, recently completed. the products include: large boulders and skinny strips of sawn and sandblasted planking. CED then used one of greencube's images for their monthly advert in the Garden Design Journal. see advert September's Issue of Garden Design Journal

courtyard garden in mews house in Chislehurst

We've just finished this garden (June 2013), so it needs to bed in a little and the feature plants need to grow and soften the hardscapes, but we are really pleased with the results so far. Our clients live in a Mews House in Chislehurst, their garden was filled with builders leftover block pavers, soulless and uninviting when I first arrived to pick up the initial brief. It now looks like this! This small courtyard garden now has two deck terraces (millboard eco decking) divided by sandstone planking from CED blended with boulders and pebbles of various sizes. The trellis panels have been made on site using western red cedar. Material selection is so important, combining the right materials that blend together or contrast in colour and texture, keeping within the context of the house and setting are key points to achieving a successful garden. We worked closely with the landscaper on this one to ensure all the finer details were delivered in this very small spa...

Courtyard Gardens - Modern Crisp Design

We've been busy working on some large projects recently, two gardens in conservation areas that required planning approval. We are also very excited about getting the go ahead on a modern design for a new build property in Tunbridge Wells, a kit house from Germany which is being delivered on several lorries in kit form. Uber modern and very exciting. We have also been busy with some smaller gardens including this little courtyard in Chislehurst. A garden on a low budget, but will turn out being a little green oasis, tranquil and a great sanctuary for it's owners.
