Sculptural Log Store or Bug Hotel ?

I've had another busy week, designing a garden for a family in Tunbridge Wells as well as some interesting visits to new clients and existing clients. I have ordered our first autumn planting palettes for September - 1st  job in Mersham, Ashford the other in Hartfield in the Ashdown Forest  and met a client at a nursery to choose a few key specimen plants for a garden in Sevenoaks, so a busy busy week. greencube's Sculptural Log Store Who would want a a standard log store when they can have one of these? A log store for my wood burner that keeps me warm in winter in my working studio doubles as a sculpture in my meadow garden.  I found an image on pinterest, tweeked it a bit and had it made by a local metal fabricator. greencube - Busy, busy, busy

What have we been upto in the last couple of weeks: We have been busy with new enquiries in Chislehurst, Leybourne, Collier Street, Sevenoaks, Green Street Green and West Wickham. We may be in an economic crisis and you would expect luxury services  like Garden Design to be hit hard, but we have had the opposite effect, our best year to date and an increase of enquiries up by 35.7 % from last year. I designed some cantilevered oak steps to provide better circulation in a garden with oak retaining walls, Clayton from Quest Landscapes did a great job on the construction. The paddlestones have now arrived and ready for the the curvy wall, very exciting. We put the Brentwood garden to bed for the winter. Looks stunning with its crisp yew hedges contrasting with the wispy textural grasses - Miscanthus, Stipa and Calamagrostis.
