I attended the Society of Garden Designers award ceremony on Friday evening at the Millenium Gloucester Hotel in Kensington, London. An awards ceremony for great garden design, now in its second year. Attended by the likes of Dan Pearson, Andy Sturgeon, Andrew Wilson amongst many other respected peers.
A lovely evening, catching up with colleagues, lecturers, suppliers, landscape contractors and making new contacts.

We did not enter the competition (maybe next year....) but thoroughly enjoyed the evening that rolled into the early hours.
and lastly here I am with the outrageously outspoken provocateur Tim Richardson - landscape and garden critic. Who I'm sure will write an interesting but controversial account in next months SGD Journal.

A big thank you to Palmstead nurseries, Nick Coslett and Andrew Wayre who invited me to attend for the second year. Here's a few pictures of the evening.
