greencube have been a little inundated with some exciting projects lately and so we've been a little busy, it's been a while since I put a blog together.
so here's what's happening at the moment:
we finished the lush, tropical, modern garden in New Barn, featuring another red fireplace with fire bowl, our client loves red, it's featured as an accent colour in their very modern kitchen and it was a 'must' to brighten up this shady garden and link it back to the house.
We finished this garden last week, planting the final feature plants.
The lighting has been tested and the hardscapes now complete.

Gemma will be looking after this garden on a regular basis to keep it looking amazing.
Garden Design in Sevenoaks
We have also resolved the garden design that has a 8m fall in Sevenoaks, see our original ideas:
originally retained in gabions filled with ragstone and green walls with decks on two levels and a slide chute to lower area for the 'little people' to get down.
Studies and Bulbs
Congratulations to Gemma who has recently passed her recent RHS exams and who has now moved onto Garden Planning, Establishment and Maintenance at Hadlow College.
Gemma's main job this month is leaf clearance, tidying up perennials in preparation for bulb planting. We have chosen some wonderful bulbs for our clients gardens this autumn - over 5000 of them!
Barn Conversion in Langton Green
We've also seen a garden we completed for a developer up for sale and have been included in the estate agents details. Good luck it looks amazing.
Achica.com
We are about to be featured on Achica.com, one of the journalists who writes features on outdoor ideas is featuring our garden in Caterham, this is a wonderful credit and link to our business, we will look out for this - coming shortly.
Front Garden and Drive being built in Bidborough
Work has started on a front garden, we worked alongside Offset Architects on this project and have already designed and constructed the rear garden. (here's the model)
Small Garden in New Development in Hawkinge
Work to start shortly on a small garden in Hawkinge (here's the model)
This small courtyard includes decking zones and lots of planting that wrap and soften the social areas.
Great Colour in our Tunbridge Wells Garden for a wonderful Autumnal Display
I visited this garden last week, we finished this garden 2 years ago, we then designed their front garden which is currently under construction and ready for planting.
Here we have used euonymus as feature shrub, hydrangea and peony for autumn colour as well as summer flower, we also used Cornus as a backdrop plant to contrast against the black fence, enhancing the planting further. We filled the gaps with geranium and erigeron to reduce the weeding.
What's currently under construction
We also have three gardens currently under construction in Ashgrove Road, Blackhall Lane, Vine Court Road and two new gardens about to start in Kippington Road and Mount Harry Road, all of which are in Sevenoaks, Kent.
All in all a busy autumn. Harriet and I are working with a developer in Upper Hartfield this week to set out the planting for a new development.
Design
We have just completed a garden design for our clients in Wildernesse Avenue and are very excited about presenting our ideas.
We have a garden in Upminster, Essex to design next week.
